Tree Visit 16th May 2020

Day 19. Chalk marks appear all around the tree. The tree is getting so much #noticethistree now. More and more. Our support is growing. Someone has put a lovely poster on the tree along side the one we did. AND whoever added it also tied twine around our poster. We like to think that is to prevent

stealing our poster as they have so many others. Above all this, the tree carries on being a tree, bending and swaying in the breeze, and reaching up for the spring sun. I have taken to leaning against it when I feel a little overwhelmed by the task of stopping its destruction. I am learning to hug a tree…?! In the gaps of being busy when I do pause at the tree, I do gain a certain energy from it. I believe. www.change.org/savethehappymantree.
